Aus Hearing appts - how hard can it be?!?

I rang Australian hearing today to make an appointment for new moulds for Jarrah - the set we had done on 5th May don't fit well at all, almost worse than the ones they were replacing! And the soonest i could get an appointment, and not even an entirely convenient one?

7th July.

Yes, another month away. Fortunately there's a 3 month warranty on the moulds and these ones will only be 2 months old by then...but still!

Ouch. They do keep falling off! J's very patient with the present ones though.

man, maybe you could get another audiologist you could work well with!

I work with mine so well!
even though she does all the things for me!

Mmmm, it's more a case of having appointments available, and since Australian Hearing is a (seriously under-funded) government agency, these are hard to get. Because both J&K are under 21, Australian Hearing looks after them nearly for free...i'd hate to think what the cost of a private audiologist might be! :-)
